Onboarding Training Program
Many traditional training methods rely heavily on verbal corrections like “no,” which often results in dogs behaving only when someone is watching. Our approach focuses on teaching dogs how to make better choices on their own, creating reliable behavior that holds up even when you are not present.
Our Board and Train program is an immersive, structured training experience conducted over two weeks in a controlled environment. During this time, dogs learn clear expectations, foundational obedience, and real-world manners designed to improve overall control and responsiveness.
Training does not stop with the dog. Once your dog completes the program, we dedicate time to working directly with you and your household. Consistency is key to long-term success, so we ensure everyone understands the system, rules, and follow-through before transitioning fully back to home life.
Throughout the program, dogs also receive guided indoor and outdoor socialization, helping them learn appropriate behavior around distractions, new environments, and other dogs.
This program is well suited for puppies, busy owners, dogs struggling in high-distraction settings, and dogs who need focused, consistent guidance.
If you are planning a trip or simply do not have the time for weekly lessons, Board and Train is a convenient option. You can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is learning, then return home to a calmer, more responsive companion.
Behaviors we work on include:
Potty and house training
Puppy biting and mouthing
Jumping on people
Destructive behaviors such as chewing or digging
Boundary awareness
Excessive barking or whining
Furniture boundaries, if desired
Crate training, if desired
Behavior concerns including aggression
Training skills covered indoors and outdoors:
Reliable recall
Place command
Loose-leash walking and pulling reduction
Polite greetings without jumping
Impulse control around doors and thresholds
Structured heeling on and off leash
Sit and down with duration and distance
Stay and place commands
House training reinforcement
Managing nuisance barking and vocalization
Our Board and Train program is designed with owner convenience in mind. We offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off, along with ongoing follow-up support to help maintain results long after training is complete.
